Loving Your Body

love

One of the first things a lot of my clients says to me when we have our introductory phone call is they have a hard body to fit, and they are going to be my hardest client. I always tell them, they won’t be my hardest client. Once we get into the fitting room, I always find the source of where this is coming from. Without fail it is the part of their body that they are the least confident about. It doesn’t matter if the client is a size 0 or 14, everyone insecure about one part of their body. For me, it doesn’t matter how many sit-ups I do, I am never going to have the stomach that I want. However, I have learned how to love my body and dress it so the other areas that I really like are enhanced.
Loving Your Body
It sounds easy for me to tell a client to love their body, even with what the client perceives to be their imperfection. I always tell clients instead of focusing on their flaws, start focusing on what they love about their body. My job is to help them enhance the parts they love and feel more confident.
How Can I Help You?
Clothes are so magical to me, because they can change your body and make your best features pop. I have a few trick up my sleeve and can help my clients find the items that will make them feel more confident and forget about the body part that they are upset about.

• Figure out what your body type is and wear clothes that flatter your body.
Too often I have clients that are not sure how to dress their body, and instead of masking the part of the body that they are not happy with, they enhance it.
• Help you find colors that flatter you.
Color is a beautiful thing if you are wearing the right one.
• Determine if you need a different size or if you just need certain pieces tailored
Sometimes my clients are used to wearing clothes too big. They also struggle with how certain items should be tailored. Tailoring makes a world of a difference and can change an unflattering piece into something that is extremely flattering.
