In the last couple of weeks, I had a couple of male clients reach out to me who were 6’5 and taller. To many, being that tall seems like a dream, but it can be very tough to find clothes that are long enough in stores. There is always the option of having items custom made, however that can be costly.
Fortunately, there are lot of stylish options for those that are tall. You don’t have to give up style for length.
Business Attire
Peter Millar had a lot of great items that came in tall. I really liked their chinos and pullovers. My client also had luck with a couple of their sport jackets. Another client chose to have some shirts custom made at Sid Mashburn in Atlanta. It was easy, and if you know your measurements, you can do it online.
Jeans
This was the hardest item for me to find for my clients. Both AG and Joe’s had jeans that were long enough and fit my clients. It was nice that I had two different brands of denim to choose from, since each brand fits differently. You want to be able find the best fit for your body. I also liked that they both had different washes to choose from.
Leather Jacket
My personal favorite leather jacket is made by All Saints. I was over the moon when I saw the measurements would fit my client. I held my breath when he tried it on, and it FIT! They have a variety of styles, so regardless if you are into an edgy look or a little more polished look, there is a jacket for you. Sweaters and Button Downs
J. Crew Saved the day! The sweaters and button down shirts fit my clients, as did the t-shirts. Bonus, they come in multiple colors. If you like it, get it in all the colors, right?
